Adoration for Vocations
The objective of Adoration for Vocations is to create an opportunity to increase prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for vocations.
A Personal Response
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a beautiful way to pray for vocations promotion. It is recommended to find a time for weekly adoration with the Blessed Sacrament exposed. However, if there is not a scheduled time of exposition, then a holy hour in front of the tabernacle or a time of prayer at home is appropriate. To offer a holy hour for vocations simply implies that you keep in your heart the intention of an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. We suggest utilizing The Invocation for Priests and Consecrated Men and Women to either begin or end your time with Christ. This prayer is also a great way to encourage others to offer their holy hours for vocations promotion.
