What is Adoration for Vocations?
Adoration for Vocations (AFV) is individual or group prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life, and for holiness of marriages and families. Participants pray to God to send more young priests and consecrated men and women, for the graces to answer their call, and the perseverance of all priests and consecrated people living their vocation.
Gathering in prayer as a community for young men and women of discernment age allows each person the graces needed to hear God’s call, to foster a deep love for him, and offer themselves totally to him.
